Wildlife Workshops
Dragonfly workshops for beginners
David Chandler
This course provides an introduction to these wonderful insects. You will learn a bit about identification, with a particular focus on local species, how dragonflies live, and how to create a pond for dragonflies. The course will be partly indoors, and weather permitting, partly outside looking for dragonflies in the Garden. If you have binoculars please bring them – ones with a good close-focus (2 metres or less) will be particularly useful.
