Pen & ink seed pods for beginners
Georita Harriott
Monday 23 – Wednesday 25 September 2013
Seed heads and capsules are a traditional subject for pen and ink botanical studies. This course is for beginners who would like to make detailed recorded observations of the structure of seed pods from around the world. Using fine examples from the Garden, Georita will introduce simple botany and plant structures and show examples of pen and ink work from the masters of this technique. Tuition will include preparatory observational pencil drawing followed by traditional pen and ink techniques to delineate and shade the specimens.
