Botanical Art
Conkers, berries and fruit in coloured pencil
Janie Pirie
Tuesday 8 - Thursday 10 October 2013
This course will give you the opportunity to create a beautiful study of one of Britain’s most beautiful autumn seeds – the conker. Not only is the actual seed a rich and shiny chestnut brown but the seed pod is also very interesting with its prickles and wonderful green and brown surface – a really interesting subject for botanical artists.
