Bumblebees are familiar to most people and at least six species can be found in most gardens, where they play an important role as pollinators. Learn how to separate bumblebees from similar-looking insects and about their life cycles, ecology and importance in the garden. The day will include hands-on identification, tips on habitat creation and a walk through our special bee-friendly borders.
