Still Life Plants

John Wiltshire
Tuesday 2 December 2014

Working directly from an arrangement of plant specimens from the Botanic Garden’s collection we will focus on the relationships between different forms and structures and how to depict them. Using a restricted palette of colours you will learn some practical techniques and observational skills that will help to develop your painting ability. Artists'-quality watercolour paint, paper, brushes, boards and easels will be provided for you to use during the sessions, but please do bring your own materials along if you prefer.
