Looking good now
Through the Woodland and on the Systematic Beds, hoops of orange and yellow crown imperial bells sporting a tuft of bright green leaves are standing in joyful crowds.

Free spring into summer tours every Sunday

Join a free afternoon taster tour on Sundays at 3pm
With over 8000 plant species and a diverse range of beautiful plantings to enjoy from statuesque trees to buzzing bee borders, it’s sometimes a challenge to know where to start (or end!) a walk around the Cambridge University Botanic Garden.

During May, June and July, free taster tours in the company of expert Garden Guides will take visitors around the flowering highlights and history of this 40 acre oasis in the City. The drop-in tours last an hour and will visit all the plants and places at their best.

The taster tours leave at 3pm from Brookside Gate and run every Sunday afternoon until the end of July.

Enjoy a bit of botany before tea and flowers before fruitcake!
