A sustainable approach

The Botanic Garden aims to practise sustainable horticulture. In all our operations, we try to reduce the materials we use, limit chemical inputs and recycle as much as possible. We approach this in a holistic way, so by encouraging wildlife we have our natural pest control, by recycling our green waste we can mulch beds and avoid the need to water.
