The aims of the Friends of Cambridge University Botanic Garden, which celebrated 30 years in 2012, are to support and champion the Garden and its work.
Keep up-to-date with news from the Garden and the varied events run for Friends and by Friends through these webpages and also through Friends' News, a full-colour newsletter sent to all current members that comes out three times each year. You can also choose to sign up to receive a regular e-news bulletin that includes details on the plants and landscapes at their best.
As a Friend, there will be no further admission charges (unless you forget to bring your membership card with you!), although an additional charge may be made on special events days such as Apple Day. We hope this will encourage you to come often through the year to discover how the Garden changes from season to season. Joint members must each present their membership card at the ticket office on arrival. Without a valid Friends card you will be charged the normal admission fee.
To join the Friends, please download, complete and return the Application Form available from the link left. Single annual membership is £35 and Joint annual membership for two people living at the same address is £60.
Please allow maximum 4 weeks for processing of application forms for both new and renewal membership. It is also possible to complete an application form at either ticket office. If choosing to pay by Direct Debit this will be effective from the second year of membership, the current year must be paid by cash/cheque/credit/debit card at the time of joining.
Membership of the Friends also makes the perfect present for birthdays, those new to the area, new parents and for all special celebrations. Please download the special gift membership form from the link left. Closing date for Christmas gift membership applications is 4 December 2015.
We also encourage corporate partnerships and run a Corporate Friends' scheme. Please follow the link below left for more.
