The Friends of the Cambridge University Botanic Garden has recently celebrated 30 years and the aims of this vibrant support organisation remain the same: to support and champion the Garden and its work.
We will keep you up-to-date with news from the Garden and the varied events run for Friends and by Friends through these webpages and also through Friends' News, a full-colour newsletter that comes out three times each year. You can also choose to sign up to receive our e-news bulletin that comes out twice each month and includes details on the plants and landscapes at their best.
As a Friend, there will be no further admission charges (as long as you remember to bring your membership card(s) with you on your visit!). We hope this will encourage you to use your membership and come often through the year to discover how the Garden changes from season to season. Joint members must each present their membership card at the ticket office on arrival. Without a valid Friends card you will be asked to pay the normal admission fee.
To join the Friends, please download, complete and return the Application Form available from the link left. Single annual membership is £32. Joint annual membership for two people living at the same address is £55. Please allow 4 weeks for processing of application forms for both new and renewal membership. It is also possible to complete an application form at either ticket office.
Membership of the Friends also makes the perfect present for birthdays, those new to the area, new parents and for all special celebrations. Please download the special gift membership form from the link left. For Christmas, please make sure we have your gift membership applications by 4 December to give us plenty of time for processing.
