Through the Woodland and on the Systematic Beds, hoops of orange and yellow crown imperial bells sporting a tuft of bright green leaves are standing in joyful crowds.

Family Activities

We run family activities throughout the year here at the Garden and there are free trails to pick up and backpacks to borrow from the ticket offices whenever you choose to visit.

On the first Saturday of each month there is a drop-in family event from 11am to 3pm. Simply drop-in on the day to the Schools' Garden. These sessions are now FREE for children. Adults will need to pay the normal garden admission charge. During the school holidays there are often bookable and drop-in events running for children and families.
See the listings below for details of all the family events coming up at the Garden this year. Keep an eye on the website and our Facebook and Twitter pages for updates and if you miss a session see our Pinterest boards for ideas of activities to try at home - you'll find links to these in the left hand column of this page.

Please note that normal Garden admission charges will apply for adults accompanying children to our events.
