June 2012

June 2012 was a wet month in Cambridge with 105.9mm, made up of showers and several areas of more general rain, with the 10th collecting 21.5mm, making it the third wettest 24hrs so far this year. We are now on 344.5mm for the year to date, which is 35.9mm short of last year's total.
The 28th saw the warmest day so far this year with 28.1°C reached, and in contrast there was a ground frost of -0.5°C on the 13th and an air min of 3.9°C on the same night. So with all this rain there has been good growth on plants and some lovely shades of green on the trees this season.
