Grade T3: £17,827-£20,559 pro rata
Required to assist in the curating of the Garden’s plant collections through the production of engraved plant labels and auditing plant collections. Duties include production of engraved plant labels using a computerised engraving machine and installation of the labels in the Garden, auditing plant collections and updating the plant records database.

A good knowledge of computers and experience of using relational databases is essential, as is the ability to record information and input data accurately. An aptitude for practical tasks and operating machines is also necessary. Horticultural knowledge or experience would be an advantage. They should have good communication and time-management skills and a basic understanding of plant or scientific classification systems. Applicants should possess Maths, Science and English language GCSE/O level equivalent together with A level Biology or equivalent.
