Cambridge Certificate in Practical Horticulture: 2013 intake

Applications are now invited for the six places available on the Botanic Garden's prestigious one-year horticultural trainee technician scheme, the Certificate in Practical Horticulture and Plantsmanship (Level 1).

The Certificate is an open-entry scheme aimed at those wishing to pursue a career in horticulture by gaining practical horticultural experience, but also includes a demanding plantsmanship element that makes the most of the breadth and depth of the Botanic Garden’s collections.
To apply for a place on the Certificate, please download the further particulars and an application form from the link left. Please carefully read the eligibility criteria before applying.

Completed CHRIS/5 application forms (complete parts 1 & 3 only) must arrive no later than midday on Friday 1 March 2013. E-mail applications are not accepted. Interviews are expected to be held during the week beginning 8 April 2013.

Successful applicants will be expected to take up their positions on Monday 2 September 2013 or as soon as possible thereafter, and the Certificate runs until Friday 29 August 2014.
