Salary: £15,568-£18,005 pa
Friday to Monday inclusive (32 hours per week averaged)

These are part-time posts, both working 32 hours per week within the Visitor Services and Administration Division of the Botanic Garden, Friday to Monday including all Bank Holidays and weekends.
Responsible to the Visitor Services Team Leader, the Visitor Services Assistant team provide excellent front of house service. They welcome visitors, staff the reception area/Enquiries point and ticket offices, sell publications and membership, patrol the Garden to ensure the safety and security of its collections, buildings and visitors, ensure public areas are clean and fully stocked, and assist in setting up rooms for events and activities. Includes working outside in a wide variety of weather conditions.

The candidate should be educated to GCSE level standard or equivalent (including English and Mathematics) and be committed to providing first-class visitor service. Previous experience of cash-handling, cash tills and computers is essential. Good telephone manner and the ability to deal with people at all levels required.
