May 2014

This month a few mishaps occurred regarding the weather observations. Our maximum readings have been out of action since the start of the month, but hopefully by the June report it shall be up and running again. Regardless of this, we have observed that it has been a month of fine summery weather, with only a few dull days. It has been consistently warm and we enjoyed a week's heat wave mid-month.

Unlike the previous few months, May has had a considerable amount of rainfall: 71.7mm. Most of this fell between the 26th and 27th, recorded at 17.4mm and 16.6mm respectively.
We hope to see the summery weather continue and the rain keeping our plants well watered throughout June, though I dare say, a few dry sunny days wouldn't go amiss...
