Horticultural Learning Co-ordinator

This is a new post at Cambridge University Botanic Garden, funded by HEFCE, initially for five years.

Grade 6, £28,098 - £33,518 per annum

The post holder will devise, deliver and evaluate a horticultural learning programme for the Garden, across a range of audiences - from school children and teachers to horticulture students, adults and community groups.

The post holder will also have practical horticultural responsibility for the day to day maintenance and longer term development of the Schools’ Garden, requiring a high level of horticultural knowledge but also the ability to confidently educate at all key stage levels and beyond. They will also devise, plan and deliver a new programme of assisted FE/HE horticulture college visits to the Botanic Garden, horticulture courses and demonstrations for the general public, and give technical horticultural support to the learning team and learning support to the horticulture team and its trainees.
