Nerine bowdenii

The half-domes of individual lily-like florets of Nerine bowdenii bring an unexpected flash of bright pink to the Garden in mid November.
There is a good patch in the central monocot oval of the Systematic Beds. There is a beautiful glister to the lipstick pink petals and the papery sheaths on the pointed buds are also very elegant.
