Looking good now
Through the Woodland and on the Systematic Beds, hoops of orange and yellow crown imperial bells sporting a tuft of bright green leaves are standing in joyful crowds.

Meet the Family

We'll have the microscopes out and simple keys and sacrificial flowers for you to pull apart to work out which plant belongs in which family.
Best plant families for this time of year include Leguminosae (bean), Umbelliferae (carrot), Compositae (daisy), Lamiaceae (mint) and Cruciferae (crucifers). The monocot beds are a bit behind this year so we'll be cutting material from around the Garden. Julie Clos from the Systematic Beds team will be on hand to answer questions along with our expert guides.
