Session 1 (winter) Saturday 8 February and Session 2 (summer) Saturday 27 June (sessions cannot be booked separately)
During the first session on 8 February 2020 Mark Crouch, Deputy Head of Horticulture at Cambridge University Botanic Garden, explains how to look after your trees and shrubs through the winter. You will gain practical experience of pruning, and tool use. Mark will also provide a short tour of the Garden looking at one of the best tree collections in the Eastern Region.
The second session on summer pruning takes place on 27 June 2020 during which you will learn which plants benefit most from summer pruning and why. Mark will also provide a second Garden tour allowing for further discussion on successful pruning through the summer.
