Grade 7, £30,942-£40,322 per annum pro-rata

Applications are invited for the post of Schools Learning Officer (Maternity cover), with responsibility for schools, to work within a small team in the Garden’s Learning Department.

The Schools Learning Officer is responsible for planning and delivering the Garden’s school visits programme and resources, including the use and development of the Schools Garden as a teaching resource, responsible to the Head of Learning.  The Learning Team is responsible for a programme of activities and events aimed at engaging a wide range of audiences, these include families, community groups, schools and adults. Whilst this role is focused on the schools area of the programme, the team works closely and there is an expectation that the post holder will contribute to larger, whole team projects.
