This winter, the Garden will be open 10am – 4pm.
Enjoy the bright colours, winter fragrances and textural bark on show in our Winter Garden or explore alpine through to tropical delights in the warmth of our Glasshouse Range.
Our Snowdrop trail is now available at the Garden gates and our snowdrops are beginning to appear. This will guide you to the snowdrop ‘hot spots’, scattered throughout the Garden and includes information about the varieties we grow, ‘how to grow tips’, snowdrop science, history and folklore. Our snowdrops are expected to be in bloom until mid-late February.
From 12 January, on every Sunday until 23 February, you can enjoy a free-of-charge Garden tour with one of our expert guides. Taking in the Garden’s winter highlights these Free Drop-in Winter Interest Tours start at 2pm. Or treat yourself to a pre-bookable private tour followed by a hot drink & cake at the Garden Café.
Visit our What’s On pages to find out what else is on offer and see the menu at the bottom of the page for more ideas.
We hope you’ll feel refreshed and inspired, even on the gloomiest of winter days!
