Orchids 2018: an exhibition - how to build an orchid

Enjoy many different species on display in the warmth of our Glasshouse Range and find out about orchid morphology by exploring the key parts of an orchid.

Orchids 2018: How to build an orchid:

See many orchids from around the world on display and

* discover what makes an orchid an orchid - learn about the key parts of an orchid's morphology: the seed, flower, pseudobulb and root

* understand an orchid from its roots up

* find out how each part is crucial to survival and reproduction

* see a giant 'exploded' orchid model

Every Wednesday leaving between 1pm and 1.30pm from the Continents Apart House of the Glasshouse Range, limited places, free - tours last 30 mins.
