Corporate Friends
The Garden’s Corporate Friends scheme offers organisations, University departments, and their employees privileged access to one of the most beautiful spaces in Cambridge. Funds raised through the scheme support the Learning Department’s work with local communities and schools.
Our two-tier Corporate Friends scheme allows organisations and neighbours to choose the level of support that’s right for them. By becoming a Corporate Friend, you play a vital role in supporting the Garden’s world-leading scientific research and outreach, helping to inspire the next generation of scientists.
Both tiers include Corporate Friends cards, giving staff the freedom to enjoy the Garden any day of the week. Many of our Corporate Friends are local businesses and University departments whose teams use the cards to relax and enjoy lunch surrounded by the Garden’s beauty and tranquillity.
In addition, Redwood Friends receive exclusive benefits, including tickets to our annual Corporate Members’ Late Night Opening—an evening event held in the Garden exclusively for Redwood Members—as well as a complimentary group tour, the option to purchase additional cards, and, at the Director’s discretion, the opportunity to hire the Garden after hours for events.

Sponsorship and Corporate Giving
Our popular public events are open to sponsorship, and we are most grateful to Birketts and BDB Law who have sponsored our Sounds Green concerts.
Companies can also support projects or activities within the Garden. For example, our partnership with Cambridge Water, and their sponsorship of the Dry Garden, works well as both organisations are looking for ways to demonstrate ‘water-wise’ activities. We always have some interesting projects in the pipeline, please do get in touch should you wish to find out more and explore ways that we might be able to work together.
Corporate collaborations can also involve a company’s employees through volunteering and work days in the Garden. We can also help organisations meet their corporate social responsibility (CSR) objectives through supporting community and education projects in the Garden.
Every partnership is different and we work with each partner to create packages that meet everyone’s objectives. To discuss ways that we could work together please contact the Head of Development via our Enquiry Point on 01223 336265, or by emailing development@botanic.cam.ac.uk.
