Looking good now
Through the Woodland and on the Systematic Beds, hoops of orange and yellow crown imperial bells sporting a tuft of bright green leaves are standing in joyful crowds.

Encouraging wildlife at the Botanic Garden

Dr Tim Upson
Join Tim, our Garden Curator, for a foray into habitat management at the Botanic Garden. Learn how we manage the Garden to maximise habitat diversity and encourage wildlife. Tim will explain the key points of our holistic approach, and suggest ideas for you to try out in your own garden at home. You will be taken on an excursion into the Garden to look at wildlife habitat, so please come prepared for a good walk. Mobility scooters are available if requested in advance.
