This course provides basic guidance for the routine pruning of small trees and shrubs. Mark will use a combination of illustrated talks and practical demonstrations to show why we prune trees and shrubs, and what pruning can achieve. You will also learn how to care for your trees and shrubs, covering feeding and pests and diseases. There will be a short tour of part of the Botanic Garden’s Tree and Shrub collection, time permitting.
