This three-day illustration course offers participants the challenge of drawing and painting a selection of temperate and tropical leaves. The subject material will be taken from the Botanic Garden’s collections, providing a striking range of form, colour and patterning. You will have the opportunity to explore a variety of painting and illustrating techniques, using pencil, pen and wash, and watercolour. Emphasis will be placed on individual tuition, and some group demonstrations will be given.
