This course provides basic guidance on the routine pruning of shrubs. Ian, our trees and shrubs assistant, will use a combination of illustrated talks and practical demonstrations to show why we prune shrubs, and what pruning can achieve. You’ll also be given advice on caring for shrubs and coping with common pests and diseases. There will be a short tour of part of the Gardens shrub collection, time permitting.
