Introduction to Botanical Illustration in Coloured Pencil

Janie Pirie
Tuesday 22 July 2014

If you are interested in beginning to use coloured pencils to draw botanical subjects then this is the course for you. Janie is one of the country’s leading pencil artists and has been awarded an RHS Gold Medal for her work. On this one-day course she will show you the basic techniques used when working in coloured pencils, as well as lots of 'tricks of the trade' that will enhance your work and help you overcome problems. The subject for this course will be leaves of various colours and textures so a palette with suggested pencil colours will be provided to you before the course.
