Get more from your Digital Camera

Pete Murray
Friday 26 September 2014

This course uses Programme mode and Aperture mode to show you how to set up and use your digital camera to take more creative pictures. Using a variety of subjects in the Botanic Garden, we will explore how your camera can capture shape, colour and texture to give your images more impact.

The course will also help you to master the important photographic skills of composition, background, lighting, exposure and focus in a variety of situations. SLR and CSC camera owners who have a choice of lenses will have the opportunity to try these out as well as the opportunity to discuss more specialist camera equipment that can be used for these kinds of subjects. Summary hand-outs will be provided for each photographic session covering the techniques we use. (NB: It is useful to have a tripod on this course.)
10am – 4pm
