Illustrating the Daisy Family
Tuesday 9 September – Thursday 11 September 2014
More than a tenth of the world's flowers belong to Asteraceae (Compositae), the Daisy family. So it is no surprise that on this three-day course we will have a wonderful selection of flowers from the Garden's collection to work on. These might include Helianthus, Helenium, Rudbeckia, Echinacea, the many coloured Asters and more. Reinhild will help participants to choose and compose the stems on the page, creating a colourful and exciting portrait of these late summer blooms. As always she will use a combination of group demonstrations and individual tuition to help with improving drawing and painting techniques.
