Orchids have a reputation for being tricky to grow, but with the right knowledge you can easily grow many different species of these beautiful and fascinating plants at home.

So if you have an orchid languishing on a windowsill and need advice on how to look after it join Alex Summers, head of the Botanic Garden’s Glasshouse Range, and orchid specialist Phil Gould, for this practical session behind the scenes in the Botanic Garden Glasshouse potting shed.
