Colour Mixing for Plant Illustration

Georita Harriott
Tuesday 11 September - Thursday 13 September 2018

In this instructive, back-to-basics course, botanical illustrator Georita Harriott will demonstrate a range of colour mixing systems for flower painting. The course will cover the following:

• Learning a system for mixing many types of different greens effectively
• How to mix colours for flower heads - without getting muddy colours
• Navigating your paint box more efficiently to avoid paint waste and keep your colours clear

You will also have time to go into the Garden with Georita to collect flowers and leaves and paint a few small examples using the colour mixing systems you have learned. Georita will give demonstrations throughout the course and be on hand to provide individual guidance as and when you need it.

This course is suitable for all levels.
