Don't eat the plants!

Are plants really as defenceless as they first appear?
A new film from Cambridge Ideas sees the world from the plant's perspective. Calling plants 'the greatest scientists of the animal kingdom' Professor John Parker, retired Director of the Botanic Garden, explores how plants have evolved strategies to defend themselves against herbivorous attack.

The latest video from the University of Cambridge shows how plants use hairs, spikes and chemicals to improve their survival and reproduction by reducing the impact of herbivores. Follow the link below left to the University's youtube channel to watch Don't Eat the Plants.
