Following a second assessment at 2pm this afternoon, Monday 12 September, the Garden will remain closed to the visiting public for the rest of the day.
High winds with gusts of 50-60 mph have been observed, and with the trees still in full leaf and branches heavy with last night's rain, the decision has been taken with visitor safety in mind. Apologies for any inconvenience.
