Looking good now
This beautiful American sweetgum is still aflutter with orange, butter yellow, coral, crimson and deep mulberry coloured leaves, each with five sharply-pointed lobes.

Friends' Membership: the perfect Christmas present for a garden-lover

Emma Daintrey, Outreach Administrator, will be pleased to receive applications for gift memberships up until 4 December.
The aim of the Friends of Cambridge University Botanic Garden brings many benefits is to support and champion the Garden and its work, so if you have a friend or relative garden-lover who shares our vision and prefers enriching experiences over the accumulation of things, why not give them the gift of Friends' Membership this Christmas?

Membership brings many benefits. As a Friend, there are no further admission charges, which makes membership for a regular visitor very good value. We also hope this will encourage new members to come often through the year to discover how the Garden changes from season to season.

We also keep Friends up-to-date with news from the Garden and the varied events run for Friends and by Friends through the website, and also through Friends' News, a full-colour newsletter that comes out three times each year. Friends can also choose to sign up to receive our e-news bulletin that comes out twice each month and includes details on the plants and landscapes at their best.

Friends also make vital contributions to the work of the Garden, for example, volunteering within the schools programme or supporting horticultural projects, such as the Rock Garden 50th Anniversary Plan to Protect and Revive.

Single annual membership is £32. Joint annual membership for two people living at the same address is £55.

To give a gift membership this Christmas, please call Emma on 01223 336271 to discuss or download and complete the application form from the link left, and return it to Emma as soon as possible, and not later than 4 December to ensure processing in time for Christmas.
