Illustrating mountain plants and alpines

Reinhild Raistrick
Tuesday 16 – Thursday 18 April 2013

The Botanic Garden is home to a wonderful range of mountain plants. For this course these small, beautiful plants will be in pots, to enable participants to see the whole plant and there will be opportunities to visit the Glasshouse and Rock Garden in order to see plants in natural settings. Through group demonstrations and individual tuition, guidance will be given in accurate drawing, positioning the subject on the page, colour mixing and painting techniques. Suitable for all levels.
