Coronilla valentina ssp. glauca

This Mediterranean species will continue to bring floral interest throughout the winter.
Coronilla valentina ssp. glauca is one of 20 species of shrubs, perennials and annuals occurring throughout Europe and northern Africa. This species is a native of the Mediterranean. In milder areas it will thrive throughout winter, though prefers a sheltered location as it can be damaged in severe conditions. It produces a dense, compact shrub to 1.5 m in height, and the pea-like flowers are produced in contrast to the blue-grey, pinnate leaves.
