This inexplicably little-known Osmanthus from Asia grows into a small pyramidal tree of evergreen handsome foliage of large, entire, oval leaves. The clusters of ivory flowers with egg yellow stamens release a saturated scent of sugared macaroons. Delicious at the Brookside Gate!
