Aesculus x neglecta 'Erythroblastus'

The new foliage emerges as a peacock fan of shrimp-pink before each leaflet expands and drops down to give the characteristic horse chestnut leaf.
The colour will quickly fade from pink through yellow at which point the tree is a rhubarb and custard cloud, before assuming an ordinary summer green!
