Looking good now
The fat fists of silvery lilac buds on Daphne bholua 'Jacqueline Postill' have opened up to release an intense, sugary scent at the mouth of the Winter Garden.

Albizia julibrissin 'Rosea'

This small tree in the Legume family stands sentinel over the Bicycle Park on Bateman Street. Silky stamens clustered into half-spheres, each a soft, coral pink-tinged powder puff, are held in abundance above attractive, light green foliage, each leaflet itself further divided into leaflets.
Native to south-east Asia, the Persian Silk Tree grows really well with us in our Mediterranean-type climate.
