The Glasshouse Bays shelter a huge array of borderline hardy plants that thrive in the extra protection. The Salvia collections look especially multi-coloured with bubblegum pink Salvia bethelli, scarlet Salvia elegans and most notable, the furry, mauve and white, delicately extended handshakes of Salvia leucantha, commonly known as the Mexican Woolly Sage.
