Iris bakeriana

This beautiful bulb is a wonderful contrast of regimented, ramrod straight slender leaves and stems that culminate in elaborate but pristinely restrained flowers in a china blue, with dark blue velvety tips to the lower petals, each licked with a ridge of gold.
Native to Turkey, Iran and Iraq.
