Looking good now
Through the Woodland and on the Systematic Beds, hoops of orange and yellow crown imperial bells sporting a tuft of bright green leaves are standing in joyful crowds.

Birches

By Derek Wood. Colour pastel.

The subtly coloured trunks of the birch collection, leafless in winter, add a serene beauty and structure to a winter's day. The fresh green growth to the grass suggests that spring is just around the corner. Perhaps there is even some warmth in the late afternoon sun casting these long shadows?
