This week's plant picks
Sedum telephium 'Matrona'
This variety of Sedum makes robust mid-height stands of plum fool coloured flowers atop reddish stems, and is beloved by bees and butterflies. The profuse flowering and warm colour extend the interest of the Herbaceous Beds well into late autumn.
Honeybees love late-flowering Sedum telephium 'Matrona'
as do the bumblebees!
