1, Brookside

The beautiful William IV house known as 1, Brookside is once again the administrative hub of the Garden. Along with the Education Department, 1, Brookside is home to Administration, including the Custodial team, Development and the Friends. The Director is also be based there.
The lovely primrose-yellow climbing rose, Rosa banksiae ‘Lutea’ lights up the south-facing wall of 1 Brookside in spring, sometimes combining with a Wisteria that is trained up around the entrance to the Botanic Garden Shop.
