Scilla mischtschenkoana

This fresh squill from the South Caucasus and Northen Iran with an unprounceable name produces palest blue bells striped down the outer side of each petal with a vivid aqua blue.
The basal rosette of fresh green leaves completes the welcome colour lift. It shows itself to be completely at home in the free-draining conditions, arching out from under the limestone rocky overhangs.
