Looking good now
Through the Woodland and on the Systematic Beds, hoops of orange and yellow crown imperial bells sporting a tuft of bright green leaves are standing in joyful crowds.

Pop-up Plant Science

Just for the day, the smart stripes of the manicured Main Lawn will be buried under a huge pop-up Plant Science Marquee. Here some of the top plant scientists from the East of England will be talking about their research and demonstrating scientific experiments to visitors. Visitors will be able to extract plant pigments, take the temperature of a leaf and find out how plants know their ABC!
Taking part are ADAS, the Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre, the National Institute of Agricultural Botany (NIAB), The Sainsbury Laboratory Cambridge University, the Department of Plant Sciences, the Department of Biochemistry, Rothamsted Research and the Society of Biology.

We are very grateful for the support of the Sainsbury Laboratory and the Cambridge Partnership for Plant Sciences.
