Just for the day, the smart stripes of the manicured Main Lawn will be buried under a huge pop-up Plant Science Marquee. Here some of the top plant scientists from the East of England will be talking about their research and demonstrating scientific experiments to visitors. Visitors will be able to find out all about petal patterns, Moss FM - the radio powered by moss-generated electricity, learn how plants grow round the bend and visit the EnAlgae project exploring the biomass possibilities of algae!
Taking part are the National Institute of Agricultural Botany (NIAB), The Sainsbury Laboratory Cambridge University, Felsted Preparatory School, KWS, the Department of Plant Sciences, the Department of Biochemistry and the Society of Biology.
We are very grateful for the support of the Sainsbury Laboratory and the Cambridge Partnership for Plant Sciences.
