Asphodeline lutea

Clumps of whippy grass-like foliage flank the path through the recently developed Mediterranean Beds and are now topped with many flower spikes of slightly lurid yellow flowers, each opening in a seemingly random order anywhere on the spike and finely striped down the centre in lime green.
