In spring 2010, a team from the Friends of CUBG planted close on 5000 snowdrops along the West Walk and through to the Birch (Betula) collection.
In the drier and darker conditions under the oaks and yews along Lynch Walk, we hope large-flowered Galanthus elwesii and Galanthus ‘S Arnott’ will establish, while the smaller, single snowdrop, Galanthus nivalis was planted in drifts under the Hazel and Birch collections.
