Expert advice from RHS medal-winning garden designer Paul Herrington on designing your own garden

About the course

The sessions will take place on the following Saturdays:

17 May, 31 May, 14 June, 28 June

Across four sessions you will explore design principles, ideas and inspiration, simple surveying and scale drawing, planning for the right plant in the right place as well as developing a layout plan for your own garden and how to ensure year-round structure and interest. Numbers on this course are limited to ensure plenty of opportunities for support and discussion with the tutor and fellow participants. The price is for all four sessions which cannot be booked individually.

About the tutor

Paul Herrington is an RHS Chelsea Flower Show medal-winning garden designer with over two decades of experience who has worked in a range of private, public, commercial, and therapeutic gardens. Paul also runs Grow Places, a social enterprise that works in hospital and community gardens alongside people with mental and physical health problems.
