Thank you for supporting your Botanic Garden. All donations (no matter how big or small) are gratefully received.
Donations help the Garden to run our education outreach programmes, to maintain our stunning landscapes and to support world-class plant science research.
This is what your donation could do:
£25 will provide an explorer backpack for our youngest visitors to borrow (complete with binoculars, bug box and activities)
£50 will help purchase a selection of new books for our children’s library
£100 will cover the cost of a drop-in family activity day
£200 will help us support a schools visit
Helping the Garden to get moving!
If you would like to donate to towards purchasing a new bicycle or mobility scooter for the Garden, please visit our online donations page and click on the ‘Give online’ button. When you make your donation, in the field that says ‘What prompted your gift today?’ state that this is what you would like to support, thank you very much.
All donations towards the new bikes, however big or small, are most welcome, and everyone who donates £30 or over will be put into a prize draw to be in with the chance of cycling round the Garden at the end of the day ringing the bell to let visitors know its time to leave. We will get in touch with the winner to let them know, and to book their day of bell ringing in, and post an update in the next Friends newsletter. Thank you very much in advance for your support, we hope you will be seeing some lovely new bikes in the Garden soon and look forward to seeing a new face ringing the bell!
